Help with fever?!

My one year old had his shots today, the doctor said that he would most likely run a fever and treat with ibuprofen, my question is he is running a fever of 101 right now and I gave him the ibuprofen about an hour ago, is there anything else I can do to help fight it? I put a cold washcloth on it for a few minutes, but he is asleep now. Should I worry?

They say putting a cold wash cloth on the groin area is supposed to help lower the core body temp...that's the only tip other then meds I've ever found useful lol hope he feels better!

A temp that low is nothing to worry about. If your LO seems like thy are uncomfortable toucan treat with meds, but you really don't need to. Try giving Luke warm baths.
