fever help! 102.5

My 11.5 month old woke with a runny stuffy nose this morning. About an hour later she felt warm so I took her temp it was 100.3 forehead and 100.5 armpit. now in the afternoon its 101.3 forehead and 102.2 armpit. when should I worry and what should I do? she's sleeping (on me) right now

    102.5 gave her some Tylenol waiting for the Dr to call back!

    Jack just went thru this last week. Dr said it was just a virus and we had to let it run it's course.

    The fever only lasted 1 1/2 days, then he got a little rash but that was after the fever broke. It didn't seem to hurt him tho. He didn't eat or drink for like 3 days

    @Mom2ing thanks for that info! I gave her Tylenol and her temp went down plus she just had a wet diaper and is nursing right now plus having the occasional sip of water from her cup. she's actually not even hot to the touch now. I'm going to get some motrin after she's done nursing. every 8 hours right?
    I also have a scheduled appt tomorrow afternoon for her 1 year checkup :)

    After Tylenol temp is 99.5! :)
    and Dr finally called back. only took 2 hours.... but I'm not going in now anyway
