Yea im only scared cuz a friend had mirena an had to get surgery to remove it before she told me that i was fine wished she never wulda told me!

The first 6 wks i had it i didnt have a period. Just spotting. My first period with it out of this world heavy..like jumbo tampon and pad soaking heavy @joshuaswifey_711 and @newmomma13 that last for 2 wks. This past period was doable. Still heavy but just for the first few days. It lasted about 7 days. I did read that vitamin e was good to take for the random spotting. And vitamin K is good for heavy bleeding. I haven't tried the vitamin k yet though.

I have the mirena and have had it about 9 months. Only 1 normal length period since getting it put in!!
