  • I find these types of things...not so great. I am not fond of pyramid schemes and very rarely do I see anyone I know actually profiting from them, let alone bringing in any kind of adequate income from it.

  • Maybe look into Plexus slim, also.. I KNOW a girl who makes supplemental income thru them..
  • @mama_kat @captivated it's hard to gage cause i was looking into it online and some ppl say horrible things andsome people say great things
  • I have a few friends who do Arbonne (like mamakat mentioned) and they all do very well. Selling things like this take a lot of work and commitment, plus having a large group of people willing to do.parties and such.
  • I know some people who sell scentsy and they do great and love it.
  • Scentsy is fantastic but I love the product so I'm biased. I have a friend who made her way to the top with Mary Kay and loves it but there are tons of consultants for that now.
  • I get annoyed by my friends who do direct selling. It's a big turn off to me when all they talk about is "their business" . I'll support your business when It's your business. FB makes things worse!
  • I have done Pampered Chef, and Mary Kay and my sister did Scentcy! From my experience they were all a waste of time and money. I'm not trying to discourage you and I completely understand needing money but wanting to be with your children. I love pampered chef and have nothing poor to say about them except from a consultant feisty there product lasts FOREVER!!! and there is a life holiness warrenty on all products, so your not able to keep a cliental. As for Mary Kay I'm not crazy about there product but its OK, only there are way to many Mary Kay consultants around. They have a rule also that you cant sell to anyone that has had a different consultant before. Also my friend just joined and was told she would get the started kit for $150 and after she signed up and purchased the starter kit she needed more to be successful and had to purchase 2000$ more! As for scentsy I like them too but the prices the have for candles is outrageous!!! I hope you find something that will work for you!!! Good luck! And sorry its so long!
  • Sorry for all the spelling mistakes I didn't proof read and my phone auto corrects which is NOT my help :-?
  • I do Avon over here in the UK and find that it is good for recurring sales and you also don't have to pay a lot out for kits etc like you do when you do home demo parties for other companies. It's easy to do with the kids as you walk round dropping off brochures and then it takes a couple of hours to post your orders online and the same to get the orders bagged up when they arrive. I have just not long restarted after we moved and then had Riley so building up a client base again but it doesn't take long to do and I only have to sell £76 every 3 months to start earning commission at 20%. Over £150/160 brings in 25%commission then you just pay for your brochures, paper bags which aren't overly expensive, order forms are free. I find it pretty easy and you can start making some money quickly. You can do really well if you put some time in x
  • @Littlenat86 i was leaning toward Avon simply because i don't have the money to throw away 100 dollars.

I also was looking into the thirty one products since it's fairly new
  • The new anti ageing stuff you mean? That launches in a week or two over here, people are saying its amazing!
  • I have been looking in to mary kay as well.I know you have to get the starter package and then order your inventory and can get packages from 200- 1000s but they throw in free stuff at $600+. I also heard that if you try it and feel like its not working for you they will refund your money. TheysTheysaid this is the perfect time to start because of the holiday season but we just don't have the money to start right now.
