How does certified mail work? Has anyone sent something through certified mail? If so what is the process and how long does it usually take? Thanks ladies!
You go to the post office, tell them you are sending whatever it is certified, fill out papers for it, pay and it gets sent. It will then require them to sign for the letter or package or they can't deliver it. You will have a copy of the receipt to prove they received it.
@captivated thank you! Do you know how long it usually takes to get the paper back? Do they mail it back to you, or do you go pick it up? Is there a way to track it online like ups tracking? Lol
You get proof of certified mail in the receipt that day. You don't go back for another. It WILL be delivered or sent back to you. And you can get tracking as well.
