If your baby was ready to come, it would come. There is no way to make yourself dilate as that will only happen when early labor begins. This happens when you and baby simultaneously let off a hormone in which triggers labor. There is no way to simulate this without labor inducing medication. There are old wives tales such as castor oil, spicy foods etc. Unfortunately you are stuck until baby is ready or your doctor induces.
