Daycare vax issue, help non vax moms, please.

I don't want a vax debate. Yes, public forum, blah blah. I am extremely angry and just want some help and solution to this problem before I go off.

My ped wrote a note stating my son would not be receiving vax as the risks outweigh the benefits. Yes, this is not a legal exemption. My state has religious vax exemptions and that has been notarized and given to my daycare. I was told today that I had two weeks to have him UTD on ALL shots or he would be dropped. My daycare provider is a social services licensed home daycare.

Can they do this? Can someone post links to laws regarding this? I am in Virginia. I am livid right now. Don't you dare tell me I have to put anything in my child's body that I don't believe in.

I want to be fully prepared with the correct laws. If they won't abide by this, i will be filing a lawsuit.

I think personal home care are exempt and can require you to vax. I'll do a little research and get back to you if I find anything.

Not sure in reading this correctly, but it looks like there are minimum requirements not sure if yours would be exempt.

According to this document if you've filed the exemption and submitted the forms then the childcare provider must abide by your wishes. I didn't continue reading further for exemptions, but rather wanted to provide you a source of information. Scroll down to ”Health Requirement of Children.”

Thank you ladies. I know personal providers can refuse, but its not my provider. It's the state inspector chick from social services. I'll check this out now.
