yeast infections in early pregnancy. help

I'm six weeks four days pregnant and my Dr prescribed me Miconazole 2% for a yeast infection. Does anyone know If there are any risks to taking it? I would assume it would be fine since the Dr prescribed it but I have a read its not advisible to use until after the first trimester.

    During my 1st pregnancy my Dr prescribed it to because he thought I looked a lil irritated down there but it definitely made the infection come n a lot worse! Just get cream but u cnt inject it into the vagina
