If I lose part of my mucus plug before I am full term do I need to call my doctor and let her know?

I lost part of my mucus plug last night. I have heard that you should tell your doctor becauae you could go into labor in a few weeks after losing it. With my first pregnancy I was full term, so I was not concerned. I will be 33 weeks on Thursday. I have an appointment a week from today. Just wondered whether I should mention it or not. Thanks in advance for your help.

Unless it's bloody or enough to fill a cup then no. It regenerates itself.
