pink eye?

My 13 month old son has been battling a cold or virus for about a week now. Today he now has a creamy yellow discgarge from his eyes as well as nose and his eyes look blood shot. His pediatrician is closed till monday. Im not sure if it is pink eye and not sure if it can wait till monday. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks ladies..

    It sounds like it's probably pink eye. However sometimes goopy eyes are caused by an ear infection and or cold. If you pull his bottom lid down is the skin pink or red? If red it's probably pink eye that'd what my health nurse at work says. It's super contagious too!

    @ LeviLuv8 Thats what I read on the internet. But its looks normal (pink) so thats why I was questioning it being pink eye... maybe its just from the cold he has had.. mmm maybe ill see if he is better in the am and if not call the nurse. Thanks so much.
