Cheerios = baby upset tummy?

So yesterday I gave Ollie some Cheerios...and within an hour he had diarrhea. I gave him a few more at lunch time and again diarrhea...I didn't make the connection until this morning... Anyone else have this problem? I am going to hold off giving him anymore...even tho he really loved them....I think mama_kat experienced this, but she is gone now...

Are they the plain ones, or honey coated? Plain could be the extra fiber causing looser stool, and if the honey, it could be an allergy?

Also They aren't Cheerios brand, they are a natural brand..not sure if that matters.

They are honey nut..but he eats home made honey peanut butter, with no problem.. @natashalynn

It could be the fiber...but these stools are just water...would a handful of them cause that loose? He isn't sick otherwise..no fever, or lethargy..

My son can't them because they have wheat...

@smcox does it cause loose stools with your son to? It's just weird bc he eats other wheat things like toast with no incident...

Not sure, he was diagnosed with the allergy at 4 months so we don't give him any. But someone accidentally gave him crackers and he got really gassy.

But if your son eats other things with what with no problem then it may be something else in them

Maybe it was just a coincidence with the Cheerios..he still has an upset tummy today..and hasn't had Cheerios since yesterday afternoon..
