I also read it correctly. But, I think I'm a minority. I love unique names but hate most alternative spellings for otherwise common names. In this case, I would make an exception. I really really like the name...and the more I say it, the more I like it (I might steal it for my short list if we have another girl...btw, bf likes it a lot...and he hates most names!) Sahteen, Sahtene...eh, keep the spelling (it really is a beautiful name)!
