ok so how much sleep does a new born need? my little one seems to sleep all day like 20 hours a day i just feel he is never awake?!
also how much should he be eating? at hospital they said 25-30ml of formula every 3-4hours he eats double that! i dont want to over feed him! is this too much?

Newborns sleep A LOT! And idk about the formula, I breastfed and she ate every 2hrs or so

Sleep is normal, I don't remember how much but my kid ate like twice the amount of formula than what I was told was normal. They are eating what their body is telling them they need. Don't worry about gaining too much til after one year old when it's because of what foods they are eating.
