12 week ultrasound & sequential screening? ?

They said it has to be done within the 12th week only which is what I always understood but they gave me a 1 week window to schedule it during my 13th almost 14th week... so I'm confused ... so I wont be having my appt till I'm almost 14 weeks, does that matter?
