26 wks with my rainbow

:) i never get to come on any more... so i just wanted to say hi to EVERYONE!! Just passed our 26 wk mark with our rainbow baby (Memphis James). getting a bit emotional and have had small anxiety as 28 weeks approach (when we lost Harlow) but I am just trying to enjoy every single day. My placenta is in front this time and it took much longer to feel movements... he's been more active over the last week or 2 and i love it. But still, so cushioned! lol -i call it playing "princess and the pea" ;) lol i honestly think it was a blessing to have to wait longer though, that way i didn't worry about not feeling movements as much!

anyways... anyone else have their placenta in the front and then in the back?! It's just so different and i really feel like people with the placenta in front all the time miss out! BUUUUUUUUT, there will be many many times, i'm sure, when i'll be thankful as he gets bigger. lol

  • I'm so happy for you!! :) ...I am going to ask my doctor where my placenta is next time.
  • Mine was in the front too. I didn't feel a ton of movement until I was farther along, and even then it was few and far between. I was always panicking lol.
  • Congrats btw :)

  • My first was in back/second in front. Plus my first was a super-active boy (so when I started doing kick-counts, it never took longer than 10 minutes to get 10 kicks). My daughter found a comfey spot under my ribs and barely ever moved (which made me super anxious because I delivered my son at 29/6....she however did her best to stay inside; after 4 hours of pushing and a pair of forceps, she was born at 40/1).

Congrats on making it this far! I know how it is to celebrate every day/week further in the 2nd trimester (while simultaneously praying to make it to the next milestone!)
  • My placenta was anterior and I hardly felt any movement until like 28-30 weeks. Congratulations, I wish you a smooth rest of you pregnancy and a happy rainbow baby.

  • I know ur nervous everything will be fine ull Memphis in ur arms healthy an happy in about 3 short months :)
  • Btw did u ever find out why it happen the first time ?
  • @waitingformybaby tests were ran after the delivery and on my blood during this pregnancy as well after seeing a specialist... no answers what so ever. many times, there aren't in this situation (bc it wasn't a cord issue, cervix or early labor issue or anything else like that). just a perfect little angel i guess... it almost makes it harder.

THANK YOU EVERYONE for your sweet messages as well as input!! i feel as though i'm feeling him a little more each day and i just adore it!! :)
