My daughter feels hot on her forehead, but the thermometer says 99.0. She feels much hotter than that. Trust the thermometer or my mommy intuition? Why would she feel hot but not have a fever? Its like uncomfortable to touch for me.. what should I do?

Underarm.. thermometer read 98, nurse said add 1 degree.

I would go with ur instinct. Wen my baby had a fever the nurse took her temp wit the thing that goes across the forehead an it came back to 101 an my pedi was like no I want a rectal an it came to almost 104! U have any motrin or tylenol ?

I have tylenol, but didn't know if I should give it because the thermometer said she didn't have a fever. Is rectal most accurate?

Rectal is most definitely most accurate. I would take it just to be sure.

Yea way more accurate
