Thanks ladies. My blood pressure keeps dropping with the darn epidural...ugh scary but the ephedrine brings it up. I get checked in an hour, i hope its almost time!!
They just keep giving me ephedrine which only works for ab 30 mins at a time but I got as low as 55/43 several times. I'm going to ask ab opening my iv @homebirthadvocate
@homebirthadvocate that's exactly what I asked bc I would imagine it would start to affect the baby. If they mention a csection I will have them pull it and show me proof of the baby being in danger. The only comforting thing is that I know the delivering ob personally
Ya they need more liquids before I got my epi they made sure I had lots fluid just for this reason. You don't want end in section because of it hope they can do something soon. But how you feeling
Right now I feel the best I have, so far I'm on my second bag of fluids, almost time for my third. I'm getting checked in 5 mins I really hope I've progressed!!! The contractions seem to have become much more regular but slightly weaker, not much just a smidge. I'm ready to meet my baby girl!! @jules
@jules the blood pressure seems to have leveled out, they checked me and im at an 8 started pitocin for whatever reason, starting to feel some pressure, its almost time!!!
She's here!! Born at 2:59 7lb 11oz 20 inches long Abriella Grace Jenkins. Easiest labor and delivery ever minus the blood pressure thing. I pushed her out in one contraction!!
Congrats! I love the name too! I always had low blood pressure with epi's too...I actually passed out several times so I stopped getting them unless I absolutely had to.
