brown blood

So ive been spotting brown blood since 7am this morning ...I talked to my mil shes a nurse she told me to call the doc especially if it continues or turns bright red I call my doc they said they were gonna page him and id get a call back never happen

    As long as it's brown that's ok. If it turns red though that's not a good sign. Just try to take it easy & not worry.

    Go to the ER so you can get an answer. You can at least have an ultrasound done and get some answers that way.

    I would call the doctor. they should do an ultrasound and check your hcg levels

    Yeah, if you're worried you can go in to find out what's going on, but unfortunately they won't be able to do anything that early. Mucous is a bad sign, that's why I asked. Brown spotting can also come from a pelvic exam or sex.

    Me and dh hit the sheets last night and then this morning I had the spotting but would it last this long and be normal?

    brown blood is OLD blood. you walking a lot etc could've caused the old blood to expel from its dwellings. I wouldn't worry I know its,easier said than done but many women experience this. get some rest and keep us posted. I worked obgyn many yrs and this is a common worry definitely watch for red as red is fresh. I'm sure all will be fine

    Its now 1 am and hasnt stopped im thinkinhg if it doesnt stop by 6 im going to the er

    It is a good sign that it stopped. All of my miscarriages began with brown spotting and turned into bright red blood over the next couple of days. Brown is a common symptom of early miscarriage, but can also just randomly occur. This is the first pregnancy I had with brown and pink spotting that hasn't led to a miscarriage for me. Though it is still very early for me so anything can happen. I wouldn't worry too much. Spotting happens in around 30% of normal pregnancies. When is your next appointment?

    On the 25th it hasnt came back ...but I think it might have been from sex then work

    It does sound like good idea its always better to be safe then sorry I would stay away until ur further along if that's what sex does that's what I did when the doc told me it was from sex.
