my daughter is so frightened of rain storms. she keeps getting stomach aches because she is so upset. she is not going to school today because of it. Any ideas or suggestions to help her overcome this?
I know this works for dogs and cats, maybe you could try it? Get a cd of rain/thunderstorms and quietly play it while playing or watching tv, after a couple days she won't notice, turn up the volume a tad and keep her entertained. Keep doing it until it's as loud as a rain shower is, it doesn't have to be on all day but maybe a couple hours. That's all I know to do, good luck!!
