I have a dr appointment tomorrow and they'll be checking me because my pap came back abnormal. This isn't something I've delt with before so I'm slightly FREAKING OUT. I'm going on 13 weeks and have been through the ringer so far. I've found it extremely difficult to be happy or excited because it has been one thing after another. I want to be happy!! lol Tell me I'm not alone!

I've had it happen to but have been dealing with it for 8 years. During pregnancy, ur immune system isn't what it would notmally be. So sometimes they'll find some abnormal stuff up there. Try not to stress too much. In my particular case, I was diagnosed with HPV at 19 which now puts me in a precancerous state and I have lots of stuff I gotta deal with. But regardless, if you continue to have an abnormal pap, the very best treatment possible is delivering baby vaginally because it sheds allllll of that on your cervix and allows you to grow new cells.

Thanks for the reassurance @2girls_1boy! @Almost5 thank you for the information. He didn't check me today because he wants to wait until I am not so sick. (I've lost 17lbs in a month.) However, we did hear our little munchkin's heartbeat! He/she rang in at a strong 160bmp.

I just had a abnormal pap an tested positive for hpv Im goin for a colposcopy the 13th I'm totally freaked out

He didn't test me for anything today, but he said he'll do the colposcopy at a later date.

Try not to stress out I know it's really difficult. But stress will only make things worse. Good luck with everything hun. :X
