Baby shower after the baby?

Did anyone have theirs after the bby? How was it? And when did u have it? Im thinking about just doing that but when i have him i will be having a c section plus i have to throw my son birthday party.....

I may be having a meet and greet apporox 2 weeks after he is born. Depending on how I'm feeling after birth, and getting my tubes tied right away.

I did mine after for my son. I loved it. I planned it for a week after he was due and luckily he came right on time. My close family is spread out, aside from my brother my grandparents are an hour and a half away, and only get furtehr, so it was just easier. I didn't have one for my daughter and it took a long time for anyone to meet her because of the distance.

Thats the problem i have c section the 5th im gonna have my other soon party on the 20th. My thing is when should i do it i know i will need alot of help. From c section n all

I had mine ten days after I gave birth. (15 days after due date) it was a super low key meet and greet. It was really nice actually. It was kind of a potluck style byob type thing. Everyone just hung out, talked, ohhed and awed at the baby. I wouldn't do it any other way!
