5 Month Old Baby Stabbed to Death.

May 30, 2013 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A 5-month-old baby was stabbed to death at Diplomat Motel in Chicago's Lincoln Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The child's mother was also found at the hotel in the 5200-block of N. Lincoln Avenue on Thursday morning, police said. She was taken to the hospital in serious condition. Her injuries are not known.

Police say the case appears to be a homicide-suicide, but the investigation continues.
