pulled muscle

So I pulled the muscle in my neck going down to my sholder yesterday (by putting my hair up, wth) and since I havent been seen by the doc yet they said not to take any meds yet...so im wondering if anyone has used a hot patch while pregnant? I have a heating pad but its totally awkward and not working..thanks :)

    And the only reason I ask is because it says medicated so I wasnt sure :)

    Just try rub it out ive done that few times it should get better on its own. U can do Tylenol to relax the muscle little.

    Thanks, once hubby gets home from work he said hes going to rub it, which should be anytime :)
