Swimming??

I have Googled until I can Google no more...what is the general consensus about swimming in lakes? I am aching to go! I don't know if it makes a difference, but I'm 21 weeks.

I went to the beach and swam in the lake til I was about 33 weeks.

I did also with my first pregnancy, I was about 6mo preg.

I guess if there's not bad stuff in the lake its not bad ! Some lakes have advertising where pregnant females and young children should not swim.... have you swim there before?

I swam with my first pregnancy, most lakes are fine unless like stated above some places advise against it but it would be posted I'm sure.

I have swam in it my entire life. There are no warnings posted. Swimming it is! Thanks ladies!
