ouch!!!

Ok so I was talking to @monkey_girl about this in the evening I have no idea what to do now. Im 25 weeks. I was just watching tv then for an hr I had some sort of contractions 3 minutes apart hurt last a minute. Then time between them for bigger and they went away. Now they just woke me up again horrible pain mostly bc really hurts on my last hip bone they are coming every couple minutes still about minute long.... this is so weird I don't know what to do??

Call your doctor and see what he says. You could be going into preterm labor and not even know it....

@perly ya its been going on for 35 minutes now I've had like 10 seven of them I timed downloaded the timer thing. The last few the time between has gotten longer it was 3 minutes or so now it's like 6 minutes. Seems like whatever was going on earlier in the evening it gets longer in between then it stopped. I just know they will tell me to go in but my daughter is sleep and hubby is working at least his paramedic that helps but his not here

You gotts make sure its not preterm labor hun. You gotta make sure both babies are safe I'm sure she will fall back asleep if she's still tired. ♡ hope its okay

I'd say go in. They shouldn't last that long. I've been seeing a maternal-fetal medicine specialist, which works with mostly high risk pregnancy (I'm not high risk by the way). He told me to try to avoid carbs because they cause per-term labor and if I'm having contractions that go on for 20 min or longer to go in.

Well this went on for little over an hr I timed most of them just not the first few once it was really hurting I had braxtons with Scarlett but they never hurt so im confused. If they come back today ill go in but I can't help but think by time I go in nothing will be happening and monitor wont pick anything up. Cause looks like now that its happened twise it goes on for an hr it takes then forever to get u hooked up then they will send me home not believing me thinking what an idiot she probably just had Braxton..which thats a lot in one hr I had 16 of them in an hr and 15 minutes or so. Im not sure how many there were last night I didn't use the app. I do have my ob appointment on Tuesday I'll for sure talk to him obviously if nothing happens between now and than..oh and I started having these painful once few weeks ago but it was only while I was running so I would stop right away and just been walking..and with Scarlett I ran my entire pregnancy until the day my water broke without any problems or discomfort. Thank you guys for the support by the way its hard having paramedic in the home not much we do unless ur dying lol.

Oh and @monkey_girl I thought about ur carb thing and the only thing I had with bread all day yesterday was waffle in morning. Everything else was protein, fruit, veggies.

Well try to take it easy. Feel better and if it starts up again call your doctor and ask what you should do.

@monkey_girl my doc just got back to me he wants me to go in to get evaluated. But my husband is getting his wisdom teeth pulled I have to go back and pick him up and since we just recently moved theres no one near by to watch Scarlett so I would have to go on my own and I'm not sure if he can even watch her on his own after the teeth. And he works a 24 hr shift tom I am stuck. Plus I'm not sure what they will be evaluating if im not having contractions right now ya know.

Maybe you can take her with you? I know it's a hard taking a toddler in with you but it doable. I have to do it all the time. Bring snacks and toys with you. Not sure what he'll be evaluating either but they usually won't tell you to go in unless it's necessary.

@monkey_girl I would if it was in his office but he wants me to go into labor and delivery to get evaluated. I won't be able to get up from the bed must likely with them trying to monitor me and she's gonna mess with all the stuff. Plus I don't know if she's allowed in there for extended period of time. I feel like they always tell you to go in just to be safe. I'm gonna try call my sister the doc one see what she thinks. I wish my other sister wasn't working today so she could drive here help out she's not off until Saturday.

Don't take this the wrong way, but can't your husband tough it out for one day? I understand that you want to be considerate of your husband, but you need to be considerate of yourself too hunn. You and this baby need to be healthy too. You may not be contracting but you just never know what changes your body may be going through. Try to listen to your doctor and get checked, even if you're not contracting. Like you always say, its better be safe than sorry.

@perly ya he could and he totally would but im gonna wait see if it happens again. I dont wanna go in and them say well everything is fine and have to pay an arm and leg. Thank you for support. Ill keep u updated!

Let me know how you go. They can only catch pre term labor early on. If you wait to long u have to give birth so be careful!!!! I had very strange constant painful bh with mj from very very early and she was 10 days late lol. This baby I'm already having bh at 11 weeks. Hope everything is okay xx

@monkey_girl unfortunately been very busy day haven't gotten chance to sit until not but been good no contractions! I had good with Scarlett and went in to labor delivery and she was only week early which was still full term. For some reason I'm not too worried right now at least. I would have gotten in but since my appointment is on Tuesday I figured the doc can do an evaluation then without me having to pay extra and wait hrs. Ya know

@mummy_to_be ya I had this with Scarlett too and she was only week early so I'm thinking I'm just weird. But good part of going through this with her is my labor was very smooth and pretty quick I thought. And baby has been moving just as usual so I'm hoping that's good thing..but your right about them catching it in time..my mom had it with both kinds second time they just told her to drink glass wine a day worked for her. I'm not gonna do that at this point lol

@wilsomom thank you for asking. No contractions that's great! Just the left hip thing but I'm not too worried about that I'm sure they are just spreading or something. And started getting pressure down there and slowly looking bigger/swollen im sure you know what I'm talking about. It happened with Scarlett soo I'm thinking it's normal nothing worry about right?!

That's good, no contractions. Braxton hicks can be really painful in subsequent pregnancies, so maybe it was just that. My hips are killing me too! I definitely know what you mean there. It's that hormone that loosens all your joints & tendons.

@wilsomom yea I never had pain with braxton hicks before and I would only get like one day with Scarlett soo was really weird for them to last soo long and be painful. Have you had that before? Lol I don't mind my hips spreading I can use some curve just not too much

Ya thats why I was like whats going on... but I'm thinking if it doesn't happen again I should be ok..And I have my appointment on Tuesday the doc will take look at everything. I'm trying take it easy between now and then, which isn't the easiest with toddler and hubby at work for 24 hrs.. but I'm relaxing now
