Please help ladies :(

My spouse and I have been ttc since Sept 2010 "unofficially" at that time we decided we would try without trying by letting nature take its course. Then we most recently discussed making it official, because we both want our very first child together. So I went out and purchased the clear blue ovulation predictor and I haven't got a single LH surge and I started taking the test around the 9th or 10th day after my menstrual. I have also have been using My Days app on my phone and according to that I should ovulate today. I have a very regular 28/29 day cycle and I'm starting to get discouraged. We both have had our check ups at the docs and he has no obstacles, I however have a tilted cervix which I'm not sure if it affects the way his sperms passage and travel. I have had one pregnancy 4yrs ago but miscarried. Is there anything else that you ladies could thing of that I may be doing wrong. It breaks my heart not being able to conceive when so many of our friends and family are pregnant or have children. It's extremely hard just holding someone else's when your ttc. Please ladies any advice you can give us would be a great help...if any of you our having the same problems please share your stories. Lots of luck and baby dust to you all!

  • The days u r ovulating lie on ur back after sex with ur legs on the wall so u kinda make a 90° angle. I heard that works and count ten days from when ur period ends that's usually the time u start and I would do so for about a week or so the ovulation test can turn out to be wrong a lot. Good luck wish you the best! :)
  • I know this sounds stupid but every.person I told 2 sup trying has n conceived rather quickly, my cervix was on my left then after baby 1 on my right no idea now but it doesnt seem 2yo matter anyway all the best to you.xx
  • I feel for you hun!!! I am 26 & hubby & I have been ttc for 17 months, finally went to fertility spec. and Im now taking my 2nd round of Clomid.
  • I also have a tilted uterus/cervix, and several wonderful girls posted on a discussion I posted regarding it with advice and encouragement from women who are TTC/given birth with the same condition. The tip my OB/GYN gave me when I mentioned to her I was TTC was to use the doggy style position for ejaculation, as it delivers the sperm best for a woman with a tilted uterus/cervix. Are you taking any prenatal vitamins, and are you under any extra stress?
  • @fingerscrossed I have not taken any prenatal vitamins and haven't been under any stress...but we are hoping that this is our month just from little signs, like my dogs following me around and laying next to my belly and smelling my belly, where as before they would be more lovey dovey with my husband
  • Well ill tell u something that might help my it worked for many freinds and I after trying to concive with no luck more than a year go to GMAC store or online purchase fertility blen they have them for both men and woman they are about 40 bucks each but we all got pregnant within two months its a blend that targets all ur reproductive system good luck baby dust ur way
  • If you have a tilted uterus as well as the cervix, laying on your tummy after sex is more effective than on your back. Sperm will be able to get up the fallopian tubes easier. Same concept as the doggie style idea. Also, you need to be having sex 2-7 days before you ovulate, because once your egg is released it's only viable for 12-24 hours. Sperm though can live inside of you up to 7 days! So you need sperm waiting around to greet your egg.
Also, don't use a lubricant, it can deteriorate the quality of the sperm. If you need something though, vegetable oil is "sperm friendly".
    Good luck!
