I am worried bout breastfeeding. I have sensitive nipples as it is and don't let my bd near them much. The thought of a baby nursing on them 24/7 scares me. Anyone else have sensitive nips?
I wouldn't worry to much about it to be honest. It might hurt for a little while but trust me it will get better you will get use to it. Breast milk for the baby is so good for them they get everything they need. Also it helps with losing the baby weight and at nights when the babys hungry you don't have to make a bottle and wait for it to warm up all you have to do is pull out and feed. Plus its a great bonding experince
I am worried about that too. I don't really let my husband touch mine very often either. I bounce around between feeling like it will be weird and having the idea of still being about to provide nutrition for proper growth after being in my body for so long. I think that I will get over the weird feelings once the baby is here. I have put my mind to breastfeeding, hopefully that will help me out in the end.
I have VERY sensitive nippples, don't let my hubby around them much either, he's a boob man so he has to be shoved away often. I dont let him touch them at all during pregnancy. Waaaaay too sensitive! buuuuut....... I can say that it is very different when nursing, if you stick it out you get to a point where you dont even feel it. I nursed both of my kids for 15+ months. In my opinion it's worth not having to clean all the bottles!
