Itching and hives

My dr says its from the amoxicillian but I stopped taking it and im itching like crazy still! Hydrocordizone helps a little as well as benedryl. But o my god this sucks so much! Any other prego ladies have this reaction from this med? I've never had this problem with this stuff before so im assuming its cuz im pregnant.

I recently got hives after throwibg up lol idk wat it was I had it all over my face. Ima ask my dr tuesday

I broke out in hives not cuz of medication tho extremely itchy all over my body for 3 days straight and after dey were gone never had them since

I get hives & break out on my neck. I'm not on any medication. So I dont know if its from my prenatal pills or what. I'll ask my doctor on my next visit

Omgsh so funny this topic got brought up!!! The past 2 weeks I've been so itchy and at night I break out in hives and itch like crazy only on my chest and arms!!! Its ridiculous I've been so so itchy and idk what its from! I see my dr Thursday but I wanna know why im so itchy n breaking out all of a sudden, I have 18 days left

I've looked it up and there's something called pregnancy hives it said its rare but it happens. Im hoping this goes away soon I've had hives for 5 days off and on. When the benadrl wears off they pop up, so itchy! But from the way my symptoms appeared mine are prolly from the amoxi

I was also told not to scratch cuz it causes stretch marks. Im not sure if that's accurate but scratching does make it worse. Glad to see im not the only one going through this. Good luck ladies! Ps 1% hydrocortizone is safe and effective so is calamine lotion and oat meal or baking soda baths.

I had pubb with my first pregnancy, people sometimes call this pregnancy hives, however it is actually more closly related to an autoimmune response to hormones in pregnancy.. its more commonly seen in first pregnancies and more with boys then with girls, however it can happen in second pregnanacies but that is less common. There is no cure if it doesn't stop on its own u can treat it with steriods which is not really good for u, or just wait it out till the baby comes.. benadryl works great, ice helps too.. I would recomend not taking baths or hot showers that makes it feel better but actually worsens it. Unfortunately I had it from the begining of my fifth month mildly and from my 8th mnth on severe, fortunately it went away the second I gave birth.. good luck I know it sucks but its just another one of those pregnancy things can't do much about it!! :I

My doctor said it wash hives and prescribed me some Prednisone

I also thought it was the prenatal vitamins but its not.its our hormones
