signs before you go into labour?

I'm 22, first baby (boy), I'm 35 weeks and scared! Is there any signs before your waters break or labour starts? God I'm excited and scared...I'm ready and then I'm not! Anyone willing to let me know what labour, contractions where like? Pain relief? And if anyone knows what the birthing pool is like as that's what I would like.

For me I ate a lot all the way up till my water broke. Contractions hurt to the point you can't talk you just want to yell its like the pain you get with the worst up set stomach you ever had then for a away then tighten back up. When my water broke I just git to the hospital changing in my gown I just thought I peed myself a lil the nurse had to inform me it broke a lil

@snreda really is it lik tht cause omg I went from eatin everything to waitin nothin..n the bathroom has become my second room

YEah your body empties out like 2 weeks before and at least with me I didn't want to eat anything the night before. My water broke with both of my pregnancies. Labor isn't bad the contractions just feel like your gonna have explosive diarrhea, lol. But the actual giving birth isn't bad at alllll.

They arn't anything you can't handle. You will be fine! I had no Idea with my first one. We had some friends over for dinner lol I ate a TON. Made a choc cream pie and actually made the statement, IF eating this doesn't push me into labor I don't know what will lol About an hr after they left my water broke! I was on the toilet off n on for hrs after that. With my daughter she came ON her due date. I was so ready, I had been having contractions and discomfort for weeks. Couldn't eat much. I spent like two days doing yard work, and walking as much as possible! Then I went online and looked up pressure points to go into labor. Tried them all!! Woke up the next day in labor. My water didn't break. When I was ready to push Dr broke it. Its usualy just a surprise eitherway! Good luck

Thanks girls that's made me feel less blank about it all lol just curious about it all. Kinda want it to happen now so I don't have to wait for it lol. Oh well only 4 weeks and 5 days to go and counting.

I was inducded with my first went in at 8pm they broke my water at 11pm......I felt back pains but only like I slept on my back wrong just aching n that's it and they said that was my contractions....they gave me meds to sleep then my doc came the next morn I got my epidural at 11 am no pain from the needle or anything I progressivly dialated with no pain just pressure as if I really wanted to poop lol started pushing at 120 pm and she was out 14 min later.....21 inches and 9 lbs even I was scared outta my mind for weeks before hand but it was amazing and I hope this one goes as smoothly!!!!
