Potiential of Placenta Previa

After my first u/s at 20 wks found that my placenta is growing close to my cervix. The position is ok for now but have to go back for 30wk u/s to check. Second child, possibly last (according to husband it is) and planning home birth. Hsbd was not comfortable with hmm brth last time, took much convincing. I am very scared about potential for c-s and missing my hm brth, and any subsequent births being vbac. Mostly, surgery terrifies me. Anyone having same situation or know what my chances r of placenta staying put?

    I had placenta previa and had to have a c/s with my 5child and vbaced with my six. I also plan to vbac my 7th

    I had an us at 17 wks and said I had a low placenta close to my cervix but not covering it. My doc said 9 out if ten times the placenta will correct itself by the time.for delivery. Ive talked to a bunch of people whove had placenta previa and so far every.single one of tgem said their placenta.moved and they were able to have a natural birth :)

    Thanks, @Laurenmarie729I I think that's what I needed to hear. Midwife and radiologist said same thing but I don't know anyone who's in the same situation. Sounds like were in the same boat, I'm 22 wks, have to wait til May13 to find out. Good luck to you. :)

    My first I had complete placenta previa. It was covering my cervix completely. We found that out at 6 wks. My next u/s was at 28 wks. Same dx. I had u/s every 2-3 wks until 37 wks to determine csection or natural. Ironically that very last u/s it moved and I went into labor 5 days later!

    @survivirmommie3 wow that's an amazing story. It's good to know they will continue to check the situation until ur full term. I thought my fate would be sealed at the 30wk u/s. Thanks for sharing ur experience.
