Confused about due dates

Im due August 8th and I am 18 weeks (will be 19 weeks on Monday). There is a girl that is pregnant that I work with and her due date is August 4th, but she told me that she is 20 1/2 weeks. How can that be if she is only 4 days in front of me? I asked her about it and she told me her Dr. told her that she was that many weeks.
