Okay so Emilio had his Ear tubes placed today. He did great! Didn't cry when they took him just waved bye bye. I was a nervous wreck the whole time. He didn't want to wake up. The nurse said she tried pinching his toe, calling his name and nothing he didn't wanna get up she finally said she grabbed him bye his shoulders and shook him awake. I wasn't sure how i felt about that but whatever. He didn't cry at all. He was a brave boy! Haven't noticed any changes today he just had surgery at 9:15am today so i didn't think i would lol. He has ran me ragged today though lol took a 3 hour nap which isn't really out of the norm anymore. We will see how tonight goes and how tomorrow goes. Glad it all went well. Jack has his pre op appt on Feb 11. If his hearing test comes back good we are going to hold off on the tubes since he hasn't had an infection since early Dec
Yaaaay glad it went well. In the future, if he ever has to be put under for any reason, you should remember what that nurse said about him having a hard time waking up from anesthesia. It may be helpful to doctors to know if he ever has to have it again.
@Frantastic oh i know i work at a surgery center and i was freaking out when they said he wasn't awake yet. Because i've seen people have reactions to the paralytic drugs and not wake up for hours after their procedure.

In there... so im assuming that is what happens when they get infections with tubes... going to dr tmrw.. she got hers nov 16,2012
Thanks, well apparently her drs office decided not to open today for some reason.. so im trying to decide what to do??? She does not seem to be in any pain thankfully!!! Thank u and good luck with Emilio's
