So I saw my seamonkey's heartbeat. I'm so happy! My question is: is it normal to spot some afterwards? The doctor really had to 'look' around first to find it but did! Has this happened to anyone else? I've had mcs in the past and I'm paranoid...

It's normal, you shouldn't worry. If you'd feel better call your doc, but bleeding after any kind of penetration like that is common.

@homebirthadvocate thank you. I'm paranoid after these mcs. I finally see a heartbeat and then blood freaked me out.

Trying not to! Like I said, this is the first time I've ever seen my baby's heartbeat so I'm definitely breathing easy right now!!

I had a transvaginal ultrasound at 6wks, bleed & cramped really bad after but am fine. Doc said just to rest.....am 8 wks now!

I bled after mine too. She even lubed that sucker up good and I stil bled. No worries.

just relax and enjoy stress free excitement over seeing your baby's heartbeat. :X
