These abbreviations are kicking my a**, WTF!

Not to sound like a butt, but I really don't get all of these abbreviations that people use. Did I sleep through that class? What the heck is af, and bfn, and any other abbreviation you can think of that people use on here, someone please fill me in!! What the heck are they!!?? Ha ha! Thanks guys!

    bfp- big fat positive
    bd-baby daddy
    bf-boyfriend
    s/o-signigicant other
    u/s-ultrasound

  • What is aunt flow
  • Bfn= big fat negative bfp= big fat positive ttc= trying to concieve
  • Bd is baby daddy
    ttc is trying to conceive
    DD is due date (I think)

    That's all I know, I was to busy looking out the windows while teacher was talking. :)

  • Seriously?? I can't believe some of these, guess I don't feel so bad for having no clue. AF-aunt flow....really?? Oh too funny....thanks everyone! This really helps! Also glad to see I'm not the only one who didn't know about these!

  • why do they call it aunt flow? thats silly LOL
  • @momamar its just something that suburban ladies back in the 50 came up with when trying to explain what a girls period was and the sentence was something along the lines of.. "well youre coming into woman hood and now once a month aunt flow will come and visit you"
