forgetfulness IS a prego symptom...right?

edited April 2011 in Pregnancy symptoms
I was just wondering cuz I thought it was and if it is I think people should remind the general public... namely my manager... yes I forgot something but the company is not going to crumble...if u can fix it in two seconds I don't think it warrants a call to me once I am off making me want to cry and scream at the same time... ugh people should b nice to me, I'm prego... sorry I had to let it out...

  • Yes! I forget what I'm doing all the time! But good news... I heard on the radio that someone did research, and found that gray matter in your brain actually increases after birth! Didn't know having a baby makes you smarter! Bonus!

  • I forget things people.tell me within seconds. My brain is barely functional. My manager however, seems to be incredibly amused by my loss of brain function! His wife has been through it all and he's totally aware that this is a real symptom so he hasn't been holding it against me.
  • @luvmyboos ....I forgot what the topic was by the time I started this. I'm worse than a dimensia patient. My fiance has to carry all important things...like rx's and doctors papers and my license and social. I can't leave my phone in my purse or the keys..Cause they must be in hand. Or ill forget to lock it or something.
  • Thank u everyone!!! U would think my boss would understand cuz she has 2 kids... but nope. Glad I'm not alone though :)
  • You know what I find interesting... my manager is the only male manager in our office and he is far more sympathetic and understanding than the female managers, all of whom have had children. It's like the women completely forget everything they went through whereas the man in the office will never forget what his wife was like.
  • @hianniaaa lol that was funny I was Half wat to work with house shoes on... :| late already
  • My memory is awful, and it didn't get much better after my kids were born. I have learned to keep a list and use my google calendar or a written calendar to keep me up to date on everything.
