help! my husband dont like it but i do! rate plz.

I like the name Easton, for some reason i just really like it. My husband dont like it at all and says it sounds like easter, so should i just keep it or no? Well this name is for our other future kids but not this one. We dont know what we are having yet but we do have names. If this baby is a girl then her name will be Melanie. If the baby is a boy (which it is what i want) his name is Ken. But Easton is for future baby boy. So what do ya think?

    I love Easton. I would have pushed for that for my baby's name but a friend just named her baby that. I think its super cute.

    I love that name. Easton. It was actually an option when I was picking names for my son. I'm a huge baseball fan and I thought it'd be a cool name for a boy eventhou Its the brand of bat I use. Haha.

    I don't want to say either way but I would just recommend that you find some middle ground with your husband on the name. You don't want to give your son something your husband hates, he might make fun of your sons name or even just be mad at you and be reminded of it everytime he thinks of his son with the name he hates...

    @baybee1aug10, @1stwoodsbaby. Ok well that gave me confident in it. My husband just dont like it. He likes vincent, im not a big fan but he reall really likes it and he kept that name so long to name one of his future son.So yeah. I like Easton a lot but sometime doubt that name.

    i love easton when i was younger i wanted to name my boys easton and weston... no joke... and nicknames "e" and wes... i loved it... now im having a girl and my bf didnt like those names so.. T.T

    When I think of naming my kid I try to stay away from names that may get my kids picked on in school. That may not be important to some ppl but kids these days are harsh! I hate to have to go choke a little kid.lol. But Easton makes me think about yeast->yeast infection and Easter also.

    I don't think its fair for you to chose a name your SO doesn't agree with; after all, the baby is his too. Also, I wouldn't worry about future names when you're pregnant now, & have names picked.. seems like unnecessary drama.

    I know, when we talked about it, he was so happy to already name future kids. I told him dont get so worked up about it. The time hasent come yet, just this little one for right now. I find out on april 20th, i can not wait! Sooo excited!
