Mimii36Lol. I bet it would win a Oscar! I have to laugh about it or I'd go crazy. Me and my bd probably won't stay together. He wants too but it's just not there anymore. His family doesn't know anything yet tho. Not even that we aren't together. They are gonna flip when they find out imnpreggo by someone else. That's when the drama comes in!

Mimii36Hey boo. I'm doing good. Just trying to process this situation right now. I don't really know how I'm going to tell my family. So my mind is in a million different directions right now. I never thought I would be in a situation like this. But other than that..I am excited to be having another LO. Lil mama is doing so good. She has 4 teeth and another breaking through. She says UH OH when she hears you say it. And shesays thank you! Shes growing so freakin fast! How's your lil Diva?

TayTayAw that's great! She holds her bottle too...rolls from stomach to back, reaches for ppl n can sit up with lil support. Time has gone by soooo fast, it's crazy! It's like it was yesterday that both of us were stressed bout our stubborn divas not taking the bottle. How much does ur lo weigh now?

Mimii36She hasn't been to the doctor since 4 months. She was 17lbs then. I know she's AT LEAST 20lbs now. She's a fatty. Lol.

Mimii36Everything! Lol. She's such a busy body already. She lovess her exersaucer. She will play in that thing like an hour at a time. And she talks ALL the time. If you don't pay her any mind..she will get louder. Lol

Mimii36Everything is great. My lo is teething really bad now. She just chews on her fingers all day. And she has periods where she will just start crying out if nowhere. But other than that she's good. Im trying to get my supply back so I can go back to bfing a little bit. I kinda miss it. How are you and your lo?

Hey girlie! My lo peditrician is thinking about taking me outta work or reducing my schedule bc Kayden is urinating only twice a day bc she refuses to eat. She's getting worse instead of getting better.January 2012

Mimii36Wow..I would hate that. I had no other choice but to go to work because bills were so behind. I hope she gets it right soon. Does she drink anything while shes with the sitter? My lo takes the bottle all the time now but for some reason when shes with the sitter she doesn't drink as much. I have to feed her as soon as I come in. But I don't bf anymore tho.

TayTayShe will drink about 4 oz in 10 hrs. When I get home she acts as if she's starving n will stay latched on ALL night. I can probably get her off for 5 min n after that she wants to nurse again bc she is trying to catch up from not eating during the day. n that's strange y ur lo does tgat. N what made u decide to stop bfing all together?

Mimii36I didn't choose too. My supply went down from when I was trying to get her to take the bottle. Now I'm pretty much empty. I tried Fenugreek but it didn't help at all.

TayTayAw i'm sorry. U did great tho! N girl I thought my supply was getting a little on the low side at one time but since I've gone back to work Kay feeds all the time when I get home so now my supply is back up....i think a little more then before.

Mimii36Thats great! I still pump when I can so its not completely gone. I only get about 2 ozs tho. I just mix them with her bottle. In a way I'm thankful my supply lowered because I think that's what made her start taking the bottle. I wanted to bf for 6 months tho so that sucks. I wish I could bf her at night but shes starting to sleep all night now so she doesn't get up and eat. I'm thankful for the time I did get to bf tho,

Mimii36Its going really good! She is loving the bottle now. She goes crazy when she sees it coming. Starts smacking her lips and everything. Lol. And I'm doing breastmilk and formula right now. Shes doing great with both! Anyway..I was just about to check up on you when I saw this. So how is your daughter doing with the bottle? She still enjoying that pacifiers? Guess what..my lo loves going to sleep with her pacifier all of a sudden. She spits it out when she falls asleep and doesn't care for it any other time. Idk what made me try it in her buy I'm glad I did. It puts her right to sleep.

TayTayAw i'm glad everything is going good for her. My lo is still being a little diva n feels like everything should go her way. I'm going back to work monday n she still hasn't mastered the bottle yet n as far as a pacifier she will only take it if u give it to her while she is calm n u have to hold it bc if u don't she'll push it out with her tongue. Idk what i'm going to do :(

TayTayWell she fussed a little. I think she realized that she wasnt getting anything besides that bottle I was so proud of her. She wouldn't drink the last oz tho. But she did great n I rewarded her with a nighttime boob. lol.....what was up with ur lo? R u formula feeding n bf?

Mimii36Yea it took my lo awhile to actually finish the bottle. I didn't push it tho because I was just proud that she was taking it. Now she drinks it all and sometimes fusses when its gone and I take the bottle. I think shes learning to love it. And right how I'm still only using breastmilk but my supply is going down a lot so I will probably be doing both in a little while.

hey girl! i know u were saying in one of ur post that ur lo wouldn't take a bottle...how is that going for u n what did u do to get her to take one? my lo wont take one and i have tried different bottles. I'm going back to work in the beginning of Feb. n she needs to get use to it. help please! loJanuary 2012

Mimii36Girl I wish I knew what to tell you. Lol. Ive now been giving my lo a bottle about 5xs a day for a month and everyday is still a battle. (I only let her bf at night because we co.sleep and so my supply wont go away). She does not like it all. Sometimes she will take it without a problem and sometimes she fights with me for 30 minutes. The only trick I have found that works without a fight is I get her up from her nap before she wakes up herself and I give her the bottle. She takes it immediately. I guess because she doesn't really know what shes drinking from. But my biggest tip is to be VERY persistant. Even if she cries and throws a fit..don't give in and give her the boob. Keep that bottle right in her mouth. It will kill you at first to see her that mad but it will her easier. The more persistant you are..she will eventually begin to drink from the bottle. I think my lo will just never take to the idea of a bottle. My next step will be mixing a little cereal with my milk and see it she will let my spoon feed her. One pregly told me her mom said she would never take a bottle and the spoon thing was the only thing that worked for her.

TayTayok im going to try that. n omg yes it kills me me she cries. my mom tried giving a bottle to her n she cried bloody murder so i just told my mom to give her to me n i bfed her. she is soooooooooooo stubborn! im like "kayden if u just taste it u will realize that it is the same thing u always drink" too bad she cant understand lol but thanks a lot for ur advise. i will def try giving it to her while she is half way sleeping.

TayTaylol yes girl! n idk how i am going to cope without being with her when i return to work. i hate just leaving her for 5 min n soon im going to have to leave her for 9 hrs...ugh. i will at least feel a little better if she would take a bottle b/c now im going to worry about her n if she is eating...stubborn, stubborn kids..smh lol

I meant to tell you this earlier on York baby's bottle refusal. It could be your milk has too much lipase enzyme. Which means as soon as its expressed the enzyme changes the bm taste. Like more sour. Try scalding it first-granted this will destroy some of the good stuff in it-but its better than adding water. I hope that helps!January 2012-

Mimii36Thank you. I will definently try that. She does seem to like it better abit hot. It actually stings my arm JUST A TAD BIT. She wont take it at all if its not kinda hot.

Mimii36Can I cool it in the fridge/freezers or does it have to stay out to cool? Can I pump..boil and then store like usual?

Mimii36Lol..shes definantly stuck in her ways. I'm convinced she will never like the bottle. Ive now resorted too giving her the bottle when shes semi sleep. I know about how long her naps are so I get her and give her the bottle without her really being awake. She takes it willingly because she doesn't realize what shes drinking from.
