  • @may1mommatobe its ridiculous what being said over there really brand names on p.a.?? That's what I'm taking about!! I'm sorry if ur on p.a. how r u able to afford brand name clothes??? Sounds like someone taking advantage to me
  • @may1mommatobe I respect you and give you kudos for that! Get em girl!!! that thread is for entertainment purposes only! (Not judging the point just the fact the drama never stops)
  • @rachdb @secon_time_mommy7 thats what im saying if ur so bad off u need asst how can u afford the luxuries I know every extra cent I get goes into saving so I can get out of my rut

@second_time_mommy7 no I really didn't. It was a few other ppl. Idk y everyone jumped on you. But somebody made a comment like if you're on fs you shouldn't have babies. That was ridiculous. My hubby n I work hard as well but ppl getting assistance doesn't bother me n the least even if they r abusing it. The way I see it, that's the only way some of these kids r gonna eat. N ppl do abuse it, but some of them will be on it forever. Punishment enough in my opinion.
  • @may1mommatobe ignorance is bliss is all I have left to say about that discussion. Keep doing what ur doing and if u want it bad enough and work hard for it then u'll get it God helps those who help themselves!
  • @twinkiesmom wow you just gave me a whole new insight. That is punishment enough its just sad that their kids will never know any other way of life. Teaching their children to live off of pa is setting them up for failure and not teaching them to strive to have better things in life.
  • @second_time_mommy7 THATS the part that irritates me to no end. Raising their kids to believe they deserve "free money" we teach our son u get what u WORK for nothing in life is free
  • @second_time_mommy7 ur right. Its a shame for the kids. Its really unfair to them. And that's all I care about. Screw the parents lol. They have to live with their decisions. But the ppl who r doing right and making good decisions I have a lot of respect for. I know what it is to struggle. Id love to get $3 or $400 for food but I don't.I just don't have a problem with those who do. Live and let live. :)
  • I'm fortunate for now, with this economy who knows! I did nearly 15k in overtime last year. Bills & braces come first, groceries, gas in car ect..whatevers left I split between my savings and having a nice treat day with kids. Usually pizza, mall run.
  • @Jamie77 wow that's a lot of ot! Are you married? We are trying to get on a steady savings plan and we have our 3 months of bills saved up but I just keep blowing our monthly extra lol we just found out we are having a baby girl so I'm having a hard time not buying all of the pretty stuff:) how old are your kids?
  • I am blessed to be financially stable but sometimes I think that there is a lot of jealously and hatred going on towards those whom have worked hard to get to where they are at. I myself have experienced this, not on pregly but from past relationships with friends and family. What I have realised about women is that not everyone who smiles at you is happy for your success and your achievements. Maybe those that are starting these drama have sad lives and would love to be in your shoes so please do not get upset by what others are saying as they want you to feel as low as them. Good luck with all your pregnancies ladies!
  • Ppl on here take things to heart! Getting butt hurt is often the case if I don't see specific things towards them then y they take it like it was them! It's like a guilty kid stealing a cookie and u mention snacks they get defensive about it. Lol we all need to take a chill pill n read completely before jumping to ANY conclusions
  • btw I was fat in the bank and now I'm goin through it so I know both sides
  • That's part of what I love about being home...I almost never cook supper! And every night after work I can take a lil break from the kids. My 2 yr old will go to the door and yell nanu when my mom gets home. It's so cute
  • Lol, bein fortunate finnancialy fortunate usually only means one thing.... U worked ur ass off to get there. Im always broje, vut im workin hard to get where u r! I want to b an accountant, and my bd is workin on a degree to b an art professor. Perserverance and hard work always pays off!
  • Work hard to get what u deserve period! We all need help sometimes and not everyone has parents who can help so the state does. How I see it
  • @Second_time_mommy7
    Congrats on your girl!
I got divorced last year, kept the house and recieve decent child support ($850m)
Without his duel income I had no choice but to work ot on my nights off. I'm fortunate my company still allows ot and my salary is decent. I have a son 15, daughter almost 11. Baby boy due in June sooo this year may b a little tighter, I'm hanging on to every penny lol
  • @Yummymummy1 I feel ya. I go through it everyday and always have first it was me becoming a highly paid manager in a company of men at 19 yrs old, now its because my husband and I have decided for me to take some time off to have and raise babies:) his family thinks I'm a gold digger and some of mine assumes I think I'm better because we can afford for me to stay home. I have never looked down on anyone nor do I have the right to! I have worked hard and so has my husband, and we never forget where our blessing truly come from! Good luck to you also when are you due?
  • @mommy_of_2ms I agree! and love love love your analogy! Gotta love us crazy pregnant women!
  • @z_mommy_2009 Awh that's adorable:) I miss all of it especially her food! Food is always better when somebody else cooks it! Now I'm on my own and if my hubby cooks he gets more food on the counter than the plate it just sucks especially when I'm sick and lazy. but my boys gotta eat:)
  • @pregnantlettemama you go girl! I never went to college because the company I was working for have very good advancement opportunities and I got sucked in:( I wanted to be an RN and even though I wouldn't trade staying how with my babies for nothing I think about when they start school and I want a job all I have is retail management experience and having a family working retail sucks! You definitely seem to be a very bright lady and have the right mind set! Your making me miss my old dreams and goals:( but I sure do love my babies! Good luck to you sweetheart!
  • @jamie77 thank you! I'm so excited to be having a girl not that I don't love my boy but my husband wanted another boy and always gets his way! It's going to be great to not be outnumbered! you are very independent and I admire that! My mother raised me to be independent and I was until I got married and my husband wanted me to stay home and make babies:) mom didn't like the fact I depended on a man lol I know its hard to have children and work so much (I was there once retail management a lot of open to closes) but your children are old enough to understand why you do it and you are a great role model for them:) when I was going through harder times I always remembered if god brings you to it, he will help get you through it! I will keep you and your children in my prayers! I don't think anyone can ever be fully ready for children but its mothers instinct, we find a way to provide for our babies:)
  • @second_time_mommy7 thanks I am due in August, and yourself?
  • @second_time_mommy7 retail does that! Ive done retail since ive been old enough to work... Once u get sucked n, its hard to get out. I work at kohls right now. I think ill have to get out of there soon, i hurt so bad when i get home... I wanna work til labor, but they have me workin 8 hour days on the floor, and bein preg, my body cant take it. I drive home after work crying, it hurts so bad! I gotta do it though, til i get enough credits to get my foot n the door n my field... Gl with ur dreams mama... Its never too late! I started out with online classes, its challenging, but my babies will thank me for it later!
  • @yummymummy1 August 16th with a baby girl!
  • @pregnantlettemama thank you! I keep thinking about starting online classes but my husband is always working even when he's home so I never have a break to do anything for me! Once my son starts pre school I will probably get serious about it though!
  • Aww sweet, I'm due in August too. 23rd
  • @yummymummy1 that was my due date with my first I ended up having him on August 20th. My babies will be 4 days from being exactly 4 years apart! I was trying not to get pregnant in Nov but I guess god had other plans for me, and ill take all of the blessings I can get:)
  • Oh wow, yes it surely sounds like he has other plans for you and they will surely work out.
  • My husband and I have worked hard for everything we have. We even put off having kids until we were 30 so we could be somewhat stable. I've worked since I was 16 years old and never had anything handed to me. I've never been on government assistance but I am not judging people who are on it for the right reasons. We drive nice cars and built our own house. We are even stable enough to where I don't have to work. I am proud of what we've accomplished together. If people want to get mad at me then I don't care....lol!
