edited April 2011 in Pregnant
So with my first baby I was told preggo women are supposed to drink at least a gallon of water a day..o yea I was told after two bouts of dehydration preterm labor LOL. So with this baby I've tried to drink at least that much from day one but man 25 wks of it and I'm so sick of water!!!! Crystal lite is bad for u and there isn't enough fruit slices in this world to keep water tasty lol.....rant over lol

@ladicapo haha not Pepsi n not really juice csuse most juices make u more consipated....
  • Crystal light I believe has asparatame in it for me I drank it all day everyday and got huge kidney stones I had to have surgically removed oww
  • Plus juice has a lot of sugar and calories
  • @mommyoftwoprincesses 64 oz is what ur supposed to drink daily when your not preggo its 8 8 oz glasses
  • Mios are amazing. They are a little expensive and perfectly okae for us preggos. Lol but they last awhile and you dont need a lot to flavor the water. I love mine.
  • They give u lots of juice threw wic, an they tell u to drink lots of juice if u dnt like water / wic women, infant, child, its a program that the state gives every one,
  • My doctor recommend 64oz of fluid a day, thats water, juice, milk or any uncarbonated liquid. A gallon is 128oz and thats a LOT! You'll definitely avoid getting dehydrated that way :)
  • There are some water additives that are like crystal lite but are natural. They don't have all the bad chemicals in it.
  • Wow, I've never heard the thing about crystal light. I will have to remember that, I haven't had any I was just wondering :)
@babyinblack682 I drink well over 64oz a day, my doctor just reccomends at least that much a day. :) I've never had any problems with dehydration or low fluid levels with any of my pregnancies. :)
