his mom :(

edited February 2011 in Pregnant
His mom does not think I'm good enough for him and makes me feel like nothing. She always says you are going to get a blood test. Before we take care of that baby. But he was my first and only and we both know it. But he never stands up for me. Now that I'm 38 weeks and 1 day she said she's going to plan a bby shower. Should I go? Everyone says she just wants to be funny and when I get there she's going to manipulate me. What should I do?

  • I hope so because she was very cruel to me. I'm having a difficult pregnancy and have to pay a 100$ deposit foe every doctors visit. And his mom called my mom and told her I need to give him his money back (only two weeks ago)

  • .I will! She post stuff under my Facebook. Pictures I had To delete mean comments every day. I hope she changes I know we're young but I didn't do this alone!
  • or yu can stand up to her and tel her to shut the f up and tel yur boyfriend to man up and take yur side yur his new family he should put yu first nd the baby and yu dont need to prove nothing to her yu aint wit her yur with her son shes jus the mom all yu should care about is baby daddy and yur baby cuz thats whats important girl I went thru that I set my in law n places were young nd make mistakes but we do learn and grow frm them
  • I agree 100% with mommy2bee, those things she is doing are totally uncalled for and even though that's his mom he should still stand up for u. If I were you I wouldn't go but if you decide to go you should bring a friend that can help you escape if necessary. My fiance lost his parents when he was really young & the aunt who raised him has hated me from the minute she met me. She's done mean things too but nothing to the extent that you're describing. I've made it clear that this baby & I are my fiances family now & unless his aunt is willing to apologize tremendously & gain my trust she will NEVER even see this child. I'm not a very forgiving person when people are racist & ignorant. That's my own personal opinion...good luck with your situation hun! I wish you the best.
  • Thankz mrsHudson11 ; but its true I dont take no ones crap espeically frm n laws lol im the sweets girl ever but dont take my kindness for my weakness and girl over here needs to stand up for herself and her baby
  • I was in that kind of situation b4 my bf's mother is the same way she will constantly attack me for no reason there are times she'll act like she love me but she really doesn't cuz she talk sh*& behind my back with my bf ex. So when I finally get tired of dealing with her crap I decided to moved out and now its juz me and my bf. Everythin is good and calm.
Good luck girl and b strong. :)
  • You see a spiteful person like myself would just sit them both down and calmly explain that until she gets respect for me, she won't be in my childs life. How can I expect her to love my child when she dislikes the mom? Then just walk out and let her stew in her juices. No respect for mommy, no holding grandbaby. And that's real. Luckily my mother in law is an angel. But evil ole me would not have disrespectful person in my life. I got rid of my cousin for being a dick n we grew up in the sme house! Tell ur bf/hubby that she's causing stress that the baby can't handle and leave it at that!
  • N I would go to the baby shower with a nice support group ( ya bestie, mom, etc ) if she tries to act up, shut her up. The longer you allow her to be rude, the worse shell get. You have to stand up for yourself. She's being a bitch yes I said bitch cuz she knows that your going to allow it and she can get away with it. Do you really want to spend the next 18 yrs as her doormat? Or worse would you want her to try to teach your unborn to disrespect you?
  • I.will but she thinks I'm not guud enuff for him and id hate to upset the bby. But I can't take it no more I wanna lay her out. And let her know shes a real bitch
