doctor visit every 2 weeks

I'm 7 weeks. My doctor is having me come in every 2 weeks. Also, I had my first ultrasound at 5 weeks he is already requesting a second. Done before 9 weeks. He told me today that he just wants to monitor me close since it took me so long to conceive. He believes it will only be for the first trimester. Does this sound right. I haven't had any cramping or spotting. Anyone else going to the doctor this often?

    I just started going bi-weekly when I hit 26wks before that I only went in once a month. Sounds like your doc is just makin sure you and baby stay healthy. Not a bad thing :)

    I see my doc twice weekly, but I'm 34 weeks and high risk.

    I would say that it's great that he is being so thorough and cautious. hopefully everything turns out well and baby grows big (but not too big lol) and healthy and brings nothing but adventures and happiness!!

    I'm biweekly too but 28weeks. Your doc knows what he's doing hun! Stay strong. Glad anthem bluecross cut out the copays now! I'd b handing them $20 for every visit since October.

    Going every two weeks as well three months pregnant high risk because my placenta is bleeding just stay postive that everything is fine congrats best of luck

    Every two weeks as well, had my first u/s at 6w and on Monday i'm going for the second one i'll be 7w3d. wish me luck.

    I've been going in every two weeks since I went in from my first visit. I had an ultrasound at each appt to make sure baby was OK until able to hear with the fetal Doppler. I had two miscarriages back to back so my Dr has been keeping very close tabs.
