I'm 13 weeks and I've had horrible headaches from the time I wake up til I go to bed. It's so frustrating... anyone else?

  • Me too..don't know how far I am,but the last two months terrible headaches
  • The doctor said that i can be from the caffeine withdraws but i dont drink much... or the hormones. They gave me tylenol 3 and they just make me sick... i hope that they stop soon! :-S
  • I have them too bad! I am 15 weeks and I am so aggravated with these painful headaches. What sucks is I have to go to work feeling this way. And I am a personal trainer and aerobics instructor. So I have to put on a fake smile and pretend like I feel great. Ugh! I want them to go away. I am afraid to take anything. I don't want my baby susceptible to any drugs...
  • I know thats how i felt and honestly the pills dont work so its a waste of time. PPL tell me that lavender and peppermint oil on my temples and neck will take them away but i guess Ive given up on that now... I guess that we are stuck... :( Maybe ill get my eyes checked.... ???
  • I had them too n nothing helped i took advil once n it felt so much better n drink alot of water u might be dehydrated n heat on ur shoulders helped me or a neck message from ur hubby hope u get better
  • I have also been suffering from headaches daily! My husband keeps asking me if I am wearing my glasses! Lol I was telling him I get them either way! I think mine are due to the tiredness and since I work full-time I am not able to take little naps when I get super tired my head just starts to ache :(
  • Ok so this is my specialty, lol.im preg wit 5th I suffer from migraines.I have been to evry dr,had evry test and taken evry medicine when im not preg and no medicine eve worked.the beg of my preg the migraines r the worst my dr said it has to do wit the hormone levels.I have learned there are triggers u can look them up online.mine r chocolate and caffeine.u may not even realize just a small amount of caffeine can do it.I used to drink 1 cup of coffee a day and a glass of soda maybe 2xs a wk.since I've cut out coffee n soda they have gotten better.I also I know this sounds crazy but I drink about 60onces of water a day and if I don't I get sick.I have to sleep wit my neck a certain way or I get sick.getting a good amount of sleep is very important.the peppermint on the temples does work for me.I also have multiple cold packs for ur eyes that I purchased at Walmart for a couple dollars they have holes so u can see it helps me so I can still function but relieve some of the pain, you look funny but ur fam will get used to it,lol.ALSO b4 I found out I was preg I was seeing a neurologist and sleep specialist bc there is also something called sleep apnia u should all look it up.I know I have it but I have to go for a sleep test but I want to wait till after I have the baby.I hope something I've said can help someone I have more info if anyone needs more help.but gota go for now.
  • Drink drink drink!! You need LOTS of water, and headaches are one of the first signs of dehydration. Could be other things, too...but make sure you're keeping hydrated for your little one :)
  • They gave me pain killers but its just like eating tic tacs. You should take your pressure
  • I was getting headaches frequently that would not go away. My doc told me REGULAR strength Tylenol was fine to take but on my next visit I told her that didn't even touch the pain. She told me to take EXTRA strength Tylenol and if that doesn't work she will prescribe fiorocet. Also I read that u are not supposed to take Advil while pregnant. Hope this helps
  • Thank you everyone!
  • I dont know if any of you have gone to a chiropractor but you truly get amazing results with your headaches....i suffered with alot of headaches before I became pregnant and I started seeing a chiropractor and I have been headache free for 2 years I still get adjusted now since with the numerous amt of hormones when pregnant can cause them...and drink plenty of water...its great alternative to taking all the meds it allows your body to heal itself
  • @lynn725 ur not supposed to take Advil when preg
  • I'm 22wks and I have been having the wost headaches...I literally can't even look at my phone, I have to sit in the dark
  • I've never had migraines until I got pregnant and weirdly enough the doctor recommended drinking a cup of coke quickly, caffeine is in most headache medicines and it made an immense change, I never drank coffee and don't really drink soda but the doctor said that coke can help and sure enough it did, much better than pills ever did :) hope it gets better for everyone
