heartbeat?

When did you see your babys heartbeat? I'm around 6 1/2 weeks and we were not able to see the hb? I'm going to have another u/s in a week to see if we can see it then. I'm very nervous b/c I had 2 miscarriages in a row before this pregnancy. I'm really trying to stay positive. I'm feeling very prgnant this time so I hope that's a good sign.

    @twinn1980- as @kerrideern said, try not to worry (i know its hard) but also, every pregnancy is different! dont stress yourself out about it... i was 5 weeks my first u/s and they seen the heartbeat.. but everyone is different (thats always something you need to remember)... did your doctor seem concerned? i think the fact that he's got you up for another u/s is a good reassurance for you that he believes everything will be fine, he's just trying to ease your mind.! good luck & keep us updated :)

    I have had 2 mcs too prior to this pregnancy. Its hard not to worry! I got see but not hear the heartbeat at 6w4d (according to us) but according to lmp I shouldve been 7w3d at that time. Hopefully I can hear it next week. I'm trying not to freak out myself. If you wanna talk just message me! Good luck!!

    Thanks ladies for your positive thoughts and comments! @prayingformiracles are you on prometrium? Docctor put me on it for this pregnancy so I'm hoping that it helps hold the pregnancy

    I was put on progesterone suppositories. 2x a day for what seems like forever

    I got my first ultrasound at 6+2 and we got to see the heartbeat then.

    Well I went in for the 2nd u/s today, and the tech saw the fluttering of the heart! I was so happy to see this and its making me feel that this is going to be a viable pregnancy! The tech is having me come in next Friday to see if we can hear it and make sure things are progressing. And she said this u/s will be free of charge!

    She measured and said it was 5 weeks 6 days. Technically I would be 8 weeks today, but I know I ovulated late. So is that not counting the two weeks before conception?? I'm confused

    5 weeks 6 days should be how far along you are..counting the two weeks.
