I finally delivered her at 5:07am this morning with 3 pushes. I had to get 3 stitches and the nurse just gave me Motrin for a pain reliever and an ice pack near my stitches. My baby girl weighed 6.1 ounces. She's so beautiful, and baby father cried as if on cue when he heard her cry when she was out. He shed some more tears cutting her chord and we took a picture of it. I feel so blessed to have my baby girl Leah, and my baby's father and his mom who was in the room while I was giving birth.
I am still having some pretty bad contractions, and they're going to give me something stronger after my breakfast comes in cause I can't take it on an empty stomach.
Thank you @babygeesmama2b; You're turn is coming up real soon! I remember sharing the same EDD as you, good luck, this is my first and this was an experience I have no word to really describe, one word isn't enough to even describe it LOL.
I'm 37 wks w my 3rd...fearing going into labor tonight/tomorrow morn. We live 30 mins from the hospital on a good day and they r calling for crappy weather complete w snow! My last labor was 6 hrs from the first recorded contraction to his arrival. Congrats and enjoy every second w her. They grow up so fast
Congrats on the baby girl. You will have more contractions just due to the fact your uterus was stretched and has to go back but it should be ok once you leave the hospital defiantly not that bad anymore.
