so so sad...this scares me

A friend of mine went in for a routine ultra sound/ checkup the ultrasound found no heart beat they asked for 3 opinions and all drs. Agreed she was due in June already 7mths...with there boy they already have 2 girls ...she had to deliver the baby natural already deceased....and it turned out the baby moved and rolled so much twisted the umbelical cord into a knot cutting off the air supply and food to the baby...they had to name him n see him already deceased omg so sad...I scares me cuz my lil girl moves so much in my tummy ...

  • I know ladies we are so blessed .....n we need to start counting kicks like some of the ladies said ....I never heard or thought about that happening to the cord .....for those of u that have droid or android there r applications that help u keep track of baby kicks....well God Bless all u

  • I have android and my comes up under baby kick counter...and a picture of an ultrasound ...but there r lots of them...type in kick counter or pregnancy and that should bring the apps up...@HomeBirthAdvocate Thanks ur right ...I'm not gonna worry thanks for the words of incouragement....keep in touch girls
  • @homebirthadvocate I though this happened a lot so that makes me feel better. I know two women who have lost babies just shy of their due dates to cord complications.
  • That's so sad... but unfortunately we can't avoid a complication like that, so not much point in stressing too much over it :(
  • This is very scary. My cousin's gf just had to deliver her sleeping baby because his cord got a "kink" in it and he was not getting oxygen. She was due next month and this just happened a few days ago. She didn't feel her little guy move for 24 hours so she called her doc and they couldn't find his heart beat. :( so sad!
