I had a c section last Aug and the area around it was (and still is) very numb. Now that I'm pregnant with baby #2 I'm starting to feel pain around my incision as my belly grows. I've tried a few things to ease the pain but the only thing that really seems to work is doing all the same things that I was adviced to do right after the surgery: roll to my side before getting up from a laying down position, apply pressure when coughing, sneezing, etc., and avoid doing too much that involves using those muscels (which isn't very easy!).
I had a c-section 2 years ago and I'm almost 34 weeks and mine just feels numb and my doctor said it was normal. How far along are you? It might be due to your skin stretching.
Mine has always been numb. My dd is 7 when I was preggo with her I had severe pain.. rushed to er. They said adhesions were stretching. Didn't last long maybe a week or 2... everyone's different I'm hoping not to have that this time
My c-section was five years ago and the area around the scar is still numb. I'm only 17 weeks though. There has been a few times lately that I have sneezed and the muscles down there hurt a lot and I was worried it was from the incision.
mine hurts each time i get pregnant.this will be my 5 th c-section. my dr said its just the pulling of the scar tissue, nothing you can do about it. good luck
I had a c section 3 yrs ago and have never had pain or numbness. I'm 12 weeks now and I hope it doesn't start hurting. I hope your Dr can help you out.
I didnt have a csection with my son, but I did have my gallbladder out when he was 6 weeks old (hes 16 months old now). I find that now that my belly is starting to grow (20 weeks with #2) my incision that is in my belly button is hurting alot! Prob the same reason...scar tissue???
The inside scar hurts for me...when I move the wrong way or sneeze, it pulls onn the inside scar and sends a pain on thhe right side. The outer scar is just really, really itchy.

Maybe your doctor can recommend something? Do you think it's. From your skin stretching?
