anyone interested in slings

I was at the Dr today and they had a recall posted on the wall. I guess there are lots of slings being recalled. One was ridesling or something like that. 3 babies have died in them. I'm going to bookmark a recall site on my phone. If I see any more I will let you know. Oh they also have been recalling lots of carseats.

    So glad I seen this, I was just looking at them online yday.. a friend told me the sling is much easier than pushing a big stroller around the mall or grocery store, but now I'm thinking ill take my chances!!!

    I just got a sling that's really scary I hope mine is fine... My bf won't let me use the ones that look like backpacks but in front til the baby can sit up on its own bc its bad for there spine.

    my advice is try a moby wrap if you are worried about it, they wrap around you so many times and it is all one piece, so i cant imagine it falling apart!

    I believe it was a suffocation hazard. The moby looks better. The pic I saw was wear the baby lays in it

    Okay so if you Google baby slings that were recalled it will give you a list. The one at the Dr was the 2010 infantino slingryder. I didn't see sevenslings or moby.

    I used the moby wrap with my son and it was the best thing ever...just took time to learn how to wrap it.

    I found a moby for 20$ brand new on Cl. I'm debating

    I used a sling with my last and loved it. U just gotta be aware... make sure baby's chin isnt smooshed to their chest. Make sure airway is straight and clear. I guess some moms didnt pay attentiin and baby couldnt breath. They r great just be alert and aware! :)

    Seven sling is not a ring sling,ring slings have rings to loosen or tighten them :) @FirstTimeMommyToBe
