I have 3 boys, I'm pregnant with #4. Boys are easy and lots of fun. I had one that peed every time his diaper came off--his changing table was in front of the window and I had to take the curtains down at least 5 times because he peed on them. He also peed all over his doctor during his first appointment. Make sure his penis is pointing down when you put his diaper on or there's a good chance he'll pee straight up and out all over his clothes. Other than that, I don't think it's that much different. At least, not from what I've seen/heard about with my friends' daughters.
I jus found out yesterday that im havin a boy im due sept 16th i hav a 1yo daughter an im a little scared of takn care of a new born boy jus bkuz of havin him circumcised.Ive never changed a new born baby thats ben circumcised an im scared im gonna hurt his little penis even more than it already hurts.Ne advice 4 changin my little man wen he gets here???
I am very glad you told me about the pee pee thing lol it will save my curtains lots of distress! I'm worried about the circumsized issue as well I don't want to hurt little man. I guess its a learning curve as much as anything else. Thanks for the advice so far!
Boys are awesome! For the circ, be liberal with the vaseline or ointment they give you. It heals pretty quickly, but that will keep it healthy and him feeling good. Also, don't be afraid to ask your doc how it looks every time you bring him in. They probably thought I was crazy, but I didn't know what to look for and didn't want to miss something! They'll give you pretty specific care instructions, don't worry.
My son is 10 and he is my best friend in the world! We are super close and he is very protective of me. I think the key is being interested in what they are interested in. My son LOVES video games and so we play together. Its like he appreciates that I try to understand his world. I love that boy so much its ridiculous! Don't worry you will do fine!
Im having baby boy#3 and def have lots of vaseline for the circ! Tylenol as well will help. Agreed on having the area covered while changing or bathing otherwise expect a shower of pee lol they really can get amazing distance! They can hose everything down in every direction soon as its exposed to air lol also listen to above advice on pointing his penis down in the diaper or he will leak pee every dang time. It really sucks changing everything from baby to bedding in the middle of the night! Only other thing I can think of is to check under his equipment when he poops cuz there are all kinds of places where it hides lol good luck everyone and congrats!
I agree @Mnbaby3.. The junk can hide poo. And once his circumcision is healed, you have to make sure that the foreskin is clean around the head after a messy poo.

My son just turned 2 in Feb, he is crazy. Just seems to be way mire busy than his older sister and a little not mischievous. But he is a mama's boy. We are pregnant with our 3rd and don't know yet what it is, but I would take either boy or girl don't care too much this time
I have 4boys (12,10,9,& 20ms)..and my o my they r alot of fun. They all have different personalities,neva a dull moment,easy and laid bk,and love to take care of their mommy. My girl is going to catch hell lol.
