How do you feel being 30+ n prego? Any pros cons ..... I must say I am able to slow down n enjoy it more than when I was younger n I really don't care what others think ;) not trying to be rude just learned u don't have to pretend to feel all hunky dorey when I feel like crap n I can laugh at the gas n other lovely things that come w pregnancy :P

  • LOL, it's different carrying a baby @ 18 vs 34. When I was a teen mom I seemed to breeze through the pregnancy with no major aches n pains. Forget it now, I'm constantly feeling like poo.

32 here ...@jaime77 ....Me too I just threw up n peed @ the same time how sad lol every ache n pain possible too :P
  • I am 33 years old and I think its a little harder on my body than when I was in my 20's but I'm more emotionally prepared for this baby.
  • I'm a 31 ye old ftm so I can't compare my experience to anything!
  • I just turned 40 and this is our first. Feeling pretty good most of the time... so far. *fingers crossed* B-)
  • I definitely feel the difference. Its taking a greater toll on me. I've never cared what others think so my gas passing is the same. I pass gas too often to try and leave the room all the time. I say excuse me and keep it moving. Lol
  • That's funny, I just though the same thing the other day. I had friends in high school that were preg and wanted to act normal even though they were so sick. Now I'm older (few months from 30) I can just say, can't make it, don't feel like it...kinda nice. Looking forward to enjoying my pregnancy and little one!
  • By the way I will be 32 yo the end of this month.
  • @Amipregnant
I understand being emotional prepared. I was young and just figured we would get by somehow. Lol now I'm aware of how much it takes to run a household, raise a family and try to get "me time" in. I miss being naive.
  • Congratulations to all you women ;) this is the best pregnancy so far yes I'm more tired in more pain but I know I have to listen to my body n baby comes first.I don't try to keep up n I do try to take it slow n enjoy every wonderful n yucky moment knowing it goes by to to fast .
  • Oh yes naive-ness is the best lmbo :P.
  • I totally understand I'm 30 and this pregnancy has taking it toll on me I'm always tired and every inch of my body is sore
  • Much different 10 yrs later and 39. Moving slow.
  • Glad to know y'all also feel like poop and its not just me. My doctor thinks I'm a whiner but this us my fourth and by far the worst everything hurts. The other day my hubby and i were fooling around and i farted on him. All i could do was laugh.
  • i had mt 1st at 16 my 2nd at 21 and both were soooo easy, this time at 29, 30 soon is killing me i have every ache and pain possible plus morning sickness sore boobs etc that i never had with my 1st 2 :-(

@ape7998 last wk my hubby n I were fooling around too I was on top had a amazing BIG ooooOOoooo n peed thank goodness not a lot but enough heck to much :S had to laugh it off uuuggg
  • I had my 1st at 19, 2nd at 32, 3rd at 34, and this one is my 4th and last at 36. Its definately getting harder on my body, but I am more calm and enjoy every bit of it so much more than at 19.....all but the peeing on myself. Lol.
  • I had my son at 23 and I am 31 now. I feel everything I didn't before aches and pains...but I am nesting sooo much earlier. I have my nursery done fully at six months and my full layette washed and hung. I pee on myself too...a lot. Lol. I agree though that it is a very different pregnancy. If I didn't have to work I would love my pregnancy. I do feel like my pregnancy is going by fast now though. It will be my last baby so I know I want to enjoy it but my work makes my weeks go by so fast....now in my third trimester and have 16 weeks to go. And I feel like if I blink I will be in l and d.
  • Im 38, will be 39 a few days before bby. I enjoyed this pregnacy more even though I had some minor issues. I dont remember much about other 2pregnacies. Love every bby movement. This will be my last. She was a total surprise! God had this plan for me! Im Blessed!
Good Luck mommies... Ive got 4weeks to go! AMEN!
  • This is my first @33. I'm 25 weeks and still feeling great. I have little to no symptoms. I do get to enjoy this a lot more than I would had I gotten pregnant at a younger age (I don't have to work now and had to up until 4 months ago).
  • not 30 but i am 27.. and i can also say im enjoying it more this time then the other two times.. im much more laxed on myself.. lol... the first one i was in denile the whole time.. just meaning i didnt really realise how much my life was going to change.. my second.. i just ate too much.. lol... this one im doing good.. and just enjoying my two boys before i have to share their time.. no hurry what so ever.. :)
  • @lae3 I know what u mean ;)
  • I am 35 and last time my first pregnancy I was 22 second pregnancy I was 23 and my third I was 24 the first two were so easy I was very fit.But my third pregnancy took a big toll maybe probally because my body never really got a chance to recover.Plus it was hard to focus on the pregnancy with 2 babies already. This pregnancy has had its ups and Downs for one thing I have had more ultrasounds and doctors appointments in this one pregnancy then all my others combined. I have learned soo much.I get to focus on this pregnancy and I have lots of help with my kids being older.I seriously get treated like a queen.I'm a lot more mature and I make better decisions. But I am so exhausted most the time and I am a lot poorer because it's dammm expensive raising 3 teen/preteen boys!
  • im 31 4th baby, my first I was 19. This has taken a toll on my body, im tired everything hurtsway more. However I dont think my body fully recovered from last baby as I was prego again @ 10 months well baby was 10 mths lol. At 19 I was everywhere n did everything not very tired nor the aches n pains. However I appreciate the last 2 pregnancies more as they go by quick n so do the years. :) congrats all!
  • im 34 with my first... and I can say... I'm prepared... mentally, emotionally, and the physical, well... I do have the aches and pains, but I just assumed that came with the pregnancy... I think it's great, I'm stable now... up until 2 years ago, I was a wild child, motorcycle riding, patron drinking, cigarette smoking... wild woman... now... I can say... I partied hard and now I'm ready to be a jazzy mom... p.s. I still have my motorcycle... can't wait to take my daughter on a ride... I already bought her a motorcycle jacket and vest!
  • Idk this is my first baby and I'm 30..but I know I can't do somethings like I could do when I was 24 lol energy where did u go? Lol
  • the funny thing is i slept so much my first.. and after u have one you dont have a nap option . although i could realy use one npw and then
  • Im a ftm and I can honestly say I feel more mature about being preggo now than if I was younger. My mental state is where I want it to be right now...but my energy level is a whole other story...
  • I had my first at 18, and it was a snap. Now I'm having #2 at 35. I'm sick, and achy all the time. I also feel like I'm on high alert all the time. Its nerve-racking
  • I'm 32 it seems harder this time around I'm 27 weeks 28 on tue and still have NO energy. I have a lot more pains this time too I also don't remember having a hard time breathing or moving.
