One and done!

I know my husband wanted two children but I'm pretty sure Blueberry is going to be an only child. I'm 40 and I think one kid is the NEW plan. Hey, I'm an only child and I turned out just fine...(take my word for it!) Any other Preglies just planning on having one? :ar!

    COUNT ME IN I CAN'T IMAGINE PUTTING MY BODY THROUGH THIS AGAIN.. YES CHILDREN ARE A BLESSING AND THAT'S WHY I PLAN ON ADOPTING IN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS.. I'M 21 BUT PLAN ON TAKING EVERY PRECAUTION TO NOT BECOME PREGNANT AGAIN..

    @Supermommy89: if you are thinking of getting your tubes tied most insurances won't cover it with you 21 and only having 1 child.

    Lol my husband wants 4! I'm like hell no! I had my 1st at 16 nd 4yrs later this one. He talkin about right after this one another 1 is coming oh no.. I think not. Jus cus all u did was bust a nut. I've gone thru toooo much from being sicker than sick to carrying around a big ol belly to tooo freakin tired nd ready to pop lol only if the men knew how all this felt.

    I felt that way but my hubby wants a boy....we're having a girl so its looks like ill be doing a round two. Not to say it'll be anytime soon tho lol

    @hurstk28 yea I'm aware of that I'm leaning more to birth control method or even celibacy.... lol no more kids for me

    2 for me. Lol I have a boy and Im praying for a little girl with this one so that I can be done. The only way I MAY consider a 3rd is if this one is a boy as I do want a little girl really bad. Lol I grew up an only child too and it was ok although at times I did want a sibling around and got a baby sis when I was 18!!! Lol she was born 2 months after my son smh hehe

    This is #6, and ladies.. I think this time IM DONE! Lol... removing my tubes. I got preggy with the last three on birth control, so im not taking any chances!

    @I_anaya - that's really the baby's name. It's perfect because it's unisex and it's like sixth generation in our family. My ancestors have accomplished great things so I want the legacy to live on in our baby. (Just kidding! It's a nickname. Lol!)

    That was my plan but God had a different one. This baby was a surprise. I think that's why I haven't been able to get really excited yet.

    I sooooo thought Jessica was going to be an only child. She's freaking 16! Now here I am pregnant. I've told my hubby that this is it! Boy or girl, we're finished after sweet pea gets here. I'm 35, and my poor body isn't going through this again.

    @blueberrysmom you are 40 , that is not old :) I think you should keep your options open cuz we all know how much u love your blueberry n to top it off youve been a wonderful mentor on a daily basis to many stressed preglys what would we do without ur posts? My hubby is 39 he wants one more , youre never to old :)

    @Mandielynne - awwww, shucks, hun! You are so sweet! okay. So I will keep my options open but the minute I feel a joint pop, get a back spasm, or a knee cracks when I bend down to pick up Blueberry is the minute that option goes right out the window. Lol!

    @I_anaya - I won't find out until June 16. I'm so excited to find out and wish I didn't have to wait so long but the doc won't move the date up. Grrrrr!

    thats all I plan on having. only reason I ever wanted more than one was so my kid had siblings but she will have 3 brothers so im saying NO more after her! .. :)
